The return of Club Montage
Grand opening weekend, June 30-July 2
After more than a year hiatus, Club Montage reopens its doors to San Diego club goers. Known in its heyday as the hottest nightclub for both gay and straight, new owners Chris Braga and Mark McDonough have fully renovated Club Montage in hopes of rekindling our love for this powerhouse of club venues.

“It’s truly an orgasm for the eyes,” said Braga of the renovated Club Montage. “There is something going on in every area of the club, and great attention to detail has been given to the design and the layout of the different bar areas.”
Club Montage has undergone a complete overhaul, with state-of-the-art lighting and a new massive sound system. There will be four fully-stocked bars and a laser-light show by Slick Lasers. The rooftop sushi bar has returned by Touch Sushi.
Braga said Club Montage’s mission is to provide a fun, safe, comfortable, drug-free entertainment venue, and added “no one will be allowed in under the influence of any controlled substances.”
Club Montage’s grand opening weekend begins on Friday, June 30, featuring Jammin’ Z90 (90.3) on the main stage with DJs T-Ski, Backspin and MC Chino. DJs Joe Matt and Jameson Garod will man the VIP room. On Saturday, July 1, Kaos Productions presents the Grand Opening party with Tidy Trax (U.K.), and Sunday, July 2, Magic 92.5 FM will head up the main stage with 92.5 DJs and DJ 2nd Nature.
Club Montage will be open five days a week (Wednesday through Sunday). For more information, visit www.clubmontage.com. Club info will be updated soon.
When asked what we can expect from the all-new Club Montage, Braga said: “You asked for better music and DJs. You asked for better lights and sound. You asked for someplace fun, clean and safe, and you will get it all at the new Club Montage.”
