Doggy style
Anyone familiar with man’s best friend knows that pooches and people have loads in common. After all, dogs love bones and many of their owners are just as keen on boners! In fact, that’s the name of the charismatic canine featured in Doggie Style, the latest from Jet Set Productions and director Andrew Rosen. His follow-up to last year’s hit Going Under, Rosen’s Doggie Style presents action so steamy you’ll be down on all fours panting for more. In addition, writer Johnny Seltzman links four passionate money scenes with a touching and believable story that mixes plenty of heart with plenty of hard-ons.
Shane Collins and Derek Cruz are lovers but not very happy together. Perhaps because he longs for a little loyalty in his life, when Shane finds an abandoned mutt he doesn’t hesitate to take him in. Meanwhile, Cruz makes the most of his boyfriend’s time away by spending it with hunky Anthony Martinez (and these lusty Latin lovelies raise way more than our interest!). You can practically see Derek’s eyes start to bulge out as he tries to deep-throat Anthony’s awesome shaft; that is, until Martinez reveals that there’s more to him than simply a pretty pecker – he’s also got a talented tongue, and he uses it to swab Cruz’s throbbing cornhole! Once foreplay time is through, though, Derek’s the lucky stiff who sticks it to Anthony’s brawny backside. Afterward (in a perfect case of bad timing), as they finish up, Shane walks in and throws them both out.
Visiting the local dog park with his shaggy new pal, Collins meets Brett Matthews. Although there’s definitely some chemistry between them, the next day he spies Matthews blowing Christian Owen behind some bushes. As it happens, he’s not the only one watching them. Sultry young Taylor Eastwood and mega-muscular Ricky are also leering at the jism festivities, pleasuring themselves as they do. There’s a smoldering intensity to this episode that continually builds as the action between Owen and Matthews evolves. Christian is particularly remarkable; no longer a wet-behind-the-ears pup, his performance leaves no doubt that he’s at last matured into a top-dog stud! It seems the only one not completely turned on is Shane, whose hopes for something more serious with Brett are dashed as a result.
When he takes Boner to the vet for a checkup, hunky “Dr.” Travis Carlson asks Collins out (which he more than readily accepts). Once at Travis’ house, the two quickly shed their clothes like winter fur in springtime and explore their animal attraction in a deeply sensuous sequence. Were there one, Carlson would be worthy of a spot on Pornowood’s “Cock of Fame” for the truly consummate blowjob he gives Collins. Making temperatures rise still higher, he poses and flexes his world-class physique while Shane in turn services this dazzling dog-doctor’s rock-hard “chew-stick.” They follow up by making love in a huge, luxurious bathtub, and the warm water catches every shimmering ripple of their bronzed, brawny bodies by the light of a dozen candles.
In an unexpected twist worthy of “The Twilight Zone,” three months later we find their romance has rolled over and played dead, and Travis is now a needy, jealous and controlling nightmare. Back at square one relationship-wise, at least Shane has his beloved pet. Walking Boner back at the dog park causes Shane to realize that the most important things in life require trust, so he decides to pay Matthews a visit. There, Collins tells him about how he let Boner off the leash to play with the others dogs. “It just seemed so cool,” he explains. “And when I called him, he came right to my side.” Finally ready to reconnect, they enjoy a doggie-style diddling that brings this tale to a sweet but sweltering close.
Like the studio’s classic The Hole before it, you could trim down much of the explicit kibbles in Doggie Style and still have an entertaining banquet of bits. This is due in major part to the impressive performance by Shane Collins. Whether playing a scene or playing around, Shane’s bark is every bit equal to his very virile bite! Not to be overlooked, though, is the adorable but uncredited hound that plays Boner. (According to representatives, he didn’t want anyone at his day job to find out about his work in the adult biz!) Nevertheless, were it possible to nominate him for an award for Best Non-Sex Role, he would undoubtedly bury the competition!
Leave it to Jet Set to once again “put on the dog” so impressively. A release like this that’s as warm-natured as it is hot-sexed is a rare breed indeed!
