Rocket magazine would like to thank everyone who attended The Center’s hate crime rally on Aug. 4, following the series of attacks against gay men that took place outside the Pride festival during Pride weekend.

Hats off to our city officials for their quick capture of the four suspects responsible for the attacks and their strong stance against these crimes.

As we hop from bar to bar, please remember that our community is still targeted. Walk in groups and always be aware of your surroundings. Together we can help prevent attacks like these from happening again.
